Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy focused on expanding the firm’s market presence in audit and tax services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances that align with the firm’s growth objectives.
- Lead market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for business growth.
- Team Leadership and Management
- Oversee and manage a team of BD Managers, BD Executives and Sales Executives (some remote), ensuring the team is well-supported and delivering on their KPIs.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations for the BD team to foster a high-performance culture.
- Ensure proper coordination between remote and on-site teams, facilitating communication and collaboration across locations.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key potential clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and attract new clients.
- Revenue Growth and KPI Management
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets set for the Business Development team through effective leadership and business acquisition strategies.
- Set performance metrics (KPIs) for the BD team and regularly track progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure goals are met.
- Analyze sales pipelines and forecasts to provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and challenges.
- Collaboration with Marketing
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment of BD and marketing efforts, including developing campaigns that support lead generation and brand positioning.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials, proposals, and pitches that resonate with target clients in the audit and tax sectors.
- Sales Process and Reporting
- Implement and optimize the sales processes, tools, and CRM systems to streamline business development efforts.
- Provide regular reports on BD activities, revenue performance, pipeline health, and market insights to senior management.
- Remote Team Management
- Develop effective communication channels and project management systems to manage the performance and engagement of remote team members.
- Ensure remote teams have the tools and support needed to perform their roles efficiently and align with the broader BD strategy.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in business development (B2B) or sales, preferably within professional services
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and delivering against revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of the UAE market and familiarity with the service industry.
- Experience managing remote teams and working with cross-functional departments such as marketing and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
